CHRIS THATCHER

Chris Thatcher teaches acting based on the Meisner Technique, the Michael Chekhov Technique, and other Method acting techniques.  Many of Chris' clients work professionally in Los Angeles, New York, and other locations around the world. Chris trained in New York, London and Los Angeles, and acted in many critically acclaimed stage productions. Chris trained with Michael Chekhov's students, Jack Colvin and Mala Powers, as well as with NYU's Richard Schechner, and renowned Meisner teacher, Fran Montano. In addition to holding academic degrees in Theatre, Chris is a certified Allied Practitioner of Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP), which enables him to train actors in a deeper, more truthful approach to characterization, acting craft, and artistic expression. Chris recently directed a critically acclaimed production of HEISENBERG, by Simon Stephens.
